Lift function for perfect stretching
Before stretching begins, the SEFAR 3A clamps can be pneumatically lifted to raise the stretching plane of the mesh above the frame. This feature provides two advantages for the screen stretcher: it helps to avoid premature mesh failure that is associated with friction between the mesh and the frame edge, and also ensures uniterrupted, uniform stretching of the warp and weft threads.
Progressive clamping force for safe stretching
The jaw of the SEFAR 3A clamps have been engineered to apply progressively greater jaw pressure as the tension of the mesh rises. This helps to avoid the mesh slipping out of the clamps, and also makes it possible to stretch all types of fabrics to high tension levels safely.

In the event of an unexpected mesh failure during the stretching process, the SEFAR 3A is equipped with an integrated safety frame restraint that will prevent the clamp from springing back.
Frame pre-bowing feature
Pre-bows the frame during stretching
During the stretching process, the independent SEFAR 3A clamps push against the frame and cause it to "bow" under tension. As a result, the mesh will retain tension after it has been glued to the frame and removed from the stretching system.
Effortless set-up and use
The plug-in pneumatic connectors allow for rapid set-up and easy reconfiguration when accommodating multiple frame sizes. Integrated frame supports can be quickly adjusted for different frame heights. The ergonomic clamp design makes opening and closing the clamps comfortable and easy!
