SEFAR PA 1000 - The special mesh for printing on 3D objects and tiles
SEFAR PA 1000 is the preferred mesh for printing shaped or 3D objects, and special applications such as ceramic tiles, glass containers, promotional items, and other challenging surfaces.
SEFAR PA 1000: the screen printer's solution for challenging applications
Valuable screen printing characteristics
The key characteristics of SEFAR PA 1000 are reliable mechanical resistance, high elasticity and improved stencil adhesion.
This makes SEFAR PA 1000 especially suitable for applications involving the use of highly abrasive inks (such as ceramic, luminous or fluorescent types) and for applications where the stencil material has to adapt to the surface of the substrate (bottles, lighters, pens, structured plastics, etc.). Nylon meshes also demonstrate very good wetting ability.
Versatile product range
Because of the wide variety of artwork and substrates that can be printed using SEFAR PA 1000, the product range for this mesh is very broad.
Sefar offers SEFAR PA 1000 fabrics as coarse as 10/25-300 PW, and as fine as 200/510-30 TW. Finer meshes within the product range are often available in both white and yellow.
Proper handling required
Although nylon meshes are valuable solutions because of their unique properties for specialty applications, it is important for users to be aware of the sensitivity of these fabrics to certain conditions.
SEFAR PA 1000 screen tensions and print registration can be influenced by humidity (nylon has a higher moisture absorption rate than polyester), and that they can also be affected by some acidic solutions.
Generally, SEFAR PA 1000 displays very good resistance to common screen printing solvents and to materials containing alkalis (which are damaging to polyester).
